This blog describes a KISS (Keep It Short & Simple) approach for passing the exam.

Check if you meet the prerequisites to take PMP exam

Check the prerequisites on Project Management Institute's (PMI) webpage on PMP (Scroll down on the webpage to the section on Prerequisites) - https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/project-management-pmp

Note that the PMP exam is changing on 26 March 2018 - https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/project-management-pmp/exam-prep/changes

Also, download PMP Handbook and refer to
the section on "PMP Eligibility Requirements" in the Handbook which provides more details on the prerequisites. PMP Handbook can be can be downloaded for free from https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/public/pdf/certifications/project-management-professional-handbook.pdf

If you meet the eligibility requirements, click on 'Apply Now' button on https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/project-management-pmp to login and register for the exam.
